Outdoor wall fountains are soothing and relaxing. The sound of gushing and trickling water is a pleasure both for the ears and the eyes. Installation of this fountain in your garden will also add character to the garden. They are also space saving since the fountain is installed vertically instead of horizontally. Since the wall fountains are installed outdoors, they should be constructed in such a way, that they last. There are many material that are used in the construction of the outdoor wall fountains. These are

- The fibreglass fountains are made of durable fibreglass, and have the exterior finish of rock, sandstone or a weathered finish. A number of faux finishes are possible. They are durable and can also stand the extremities of the weathers. They don’t break or chip easily and are also relatively inexpensive.

- Concrete is also used for the Outdoor wall fountains. The concentre need to be of high quality, else it can easily break in the winter. If there are any cracks or joints in the concrete, it can crumble easily since water will break open the cracks & the fissures in the concrete fixt the wall fountain unusable. Its also difficult to move the concentre rather than the fibreglass structures.

- Of course metal and rock wall fountains are the most expensive and can even run into thousands of dollars. If exposed to extreme weather conditions, the chances of breakage are extremely high.
